CyTech accredited mechanics
Every
bike we supply is fully assembled and checked by one of our CyTech
accredited mechanics. CyTech is the bike industry's qualification for cycle
mechanics and technicians, developed and overseen by the Association of Cycle
Traders. CyTech accredited mechanics have achieved specific levels of
competency in a range of different disciplines which are then assessed by
professional trainers. This ensures CyTech accredited mechanics have the right
skills to properly assemble your bike to ensure it is safe for your continued
use and enjoyment.

Assembled
with accessories & components fitted
Once we receive your order and checked the size you've chosen, we will assemble
your bike. As this takes several hours, we may not be able to despatch
your bike on the day you order it.
If you order accessories from us, your mechanic will fit them for you as your
bike is assembled if you request this with your order. Please note that once
accessories have been fitted, they are no longer new and in a saleable
condition so you will not be able to return them to us unless they are faulty.
If you order upgraded components from us, (eg better rear derailleur or
longer/shorter stem) your mechanic will fit them for you as your bike is
assembled if you request this with your order. Please note that once different
components have been fitted to your bike, we will treat it as a custom
build and you will not be able to return either the bike or the
components to us for a refund. We will supply you with the parts we have
removed. We are unable to credit you for them as they are not in a new
condition.

Test ridden
Once your new bike has been assembled, the mechanic will give it a short
test ride to ensure everything is working as it should. This final element of
our quality control minimises any problems you may encounter when you ride it
for the first time.

Boxed
& despatched
Once your new Ready2Ride bike has been assembled & test ridden, it
will be packed into one of our custom boxes. When it reaches you, just
open the box, undo the zip ties and remove the bike. Just turn the bars, put the pedals on and it's
ready to ride! Please remove the straps from the box, fold it flat and keep it
safely just in case you need to send the bike back to us.
As soon as your bike is assembled, test ridden and boxed we will despatch
it to you. We will email you on the day the bike is being despatched. Your bike will normally be delivered the following working day. Please note that delivery may take a little longer if you are in the
Highlands, Ireland or the Irish Republic. Please arrange for someone to be at the delivery address to accept your bike. If there is no one available, the couriers will leave a card and you can contact them to re-arrange delivery.

FREE safety check
As all our bikes are fully checked & assembled before despatch, a
safety check is not generally necessary. Gears & brakes may need to be
reset to account for cables stretching and components bedding in but a
competent person will be able to carry out this work at home with the help of
the manufacturers instruction manuals supplied with the bike.
However, if you feel that your bike would benefit from some professional
attention, we will gladly give it a free safety check. You will need to pay the
cost of returning the bike to us and us delivering it back to you.
For most of the UK, this return trip will cost you £40 but for remote areas and
the Irish Republic, the cost will be higher. We will confirm the exact cost and
with you and you will be charged before we arrange collection.
If you would like to take advantage of our safety check, we'll pick the
bike up from you, thoroughly adjust and check it and return it. Email
bike@wiggle.co.uk within 8 weeks of delivery with your order number
requesting a safety check - remember to include details of times when you will
be there to meet the courier. The bike must be returned to us in the
wiggle box it was delivered in, fixed in place with zip ties etc. For health & safety reasons, bikes sent to us for a safety
check must be clean!
